Shri Vishnu Deo Sai flags off ‘Kamayabi Van’; Digital learning to reach students in remote villages
Virtual reality and modern technology-based education to be introduced under NITI Aayog-supported ‘Mission Kamayabi’
Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday flagged off the ‘Kamayabi Van’ during a Chaupal organised in Kushha village of Sonhat development block in Korea district under Sushasan Tihar. The initiative, being implemented under the NITI Aayog-funded ‘Mission Kamayabi’, aims to bring modern digital education and technology-enabled learning opportunities to students in remote and rural areas, leading to improved quality of education and enhanced learning experiences.
Emphasizing inclusive education, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said, “The state government is committed to ensuring equal access to quality education and modern technology for children in villages and remote areas. In today’s era of knowledge and innovation, it is essential to connect rural students with digital resources and modern learning methods to prepare them for future challenges.”
Notably, the ‘Kamayabi Van’ will provide learning through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. The van will help explain science, mathematics, technical concepts and other subjects in a more interactive, experiential and practical manner. The initiative is expected to improve students’ learning abilities, technological awareness and board examination results.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said the initiative would help connect students in remote villages with science, digital technology and modern education in a simple and effective manner.
MLA Shri Bhaiya Lal Rajwade, local public representatives, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Special Secretary Shri Rajat Bansal, Collector Smt. Roktima Yadav, Superintendent of Police Shri Ravi Kumar Kurre and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
