Students Returning from Sriharikota Share Exciting Space Science Experiences with Chief Minister
Young Talents Honoured at Sushasan Tihar Camp; National-Level Athletes and Students Receive CM’s Appreciation
State Government Committed to Promoting Scientific Thinking and Innovation: CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur,Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Camp held at Gram Panchayat Bade Kanera in Kondagaon district on June 1. On the occasion, the School Education Department honoured students and young athletes for their outstanding achievements. The Chief Minister stated that the state government is continuously working to create new opportunities for youth in education, sports, and innovation.
During the programme, caste certificates were distributed to five students. In addition, five national-level athletes from the district who had performed exceptionally in various national competitions were honoured with certificates of appreciation. Congratulating the athletes, the Chief Minister stated that their achievements serve as an inspiration for other young people across the state.
Sriharikota Educational Tour Boosts Scientific Temper and Confidence
The most inspiring moment of the programme came when students from PM SHRI Swami Atmanand Utkrist Vidyalaya in Pharasgaon and Vishrampuri met the Chief Minister and shared their experiences from an educational visit to Sriharikota.
Through a PowerPoint presentation, the students showcased their observations from the Indian Space Research Organisation’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre. They presented information about scientific activities, rocket launch systems, space research processes and advanced technologies they witnessed during the visit.
The students said that the educational tour had sparked a new sense of curiosity and enthusiasm towards science, technology and space research.
Educational Visits Giving Wings to Young Aspirations
Appreciating the students’ presentation, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that such educational tours provide children with opportunities to learn beyond textbooks and experience the real world firsthand. He noted that these experiences help develop scientific thinking, foster innovation and build the confidence required to achieve ambitious goals.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is committed to ensuring that children from remote and tribal regions also have the opportunity to visit and understand the country’s leading educational and scientific institutions, enabling them to pursue their dreams with greater confidence.
Encouraging students to continue learning, innovating and acquiring knowledge, Chief Minister Sai stated that today’s children are the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.
