Incharge Branch Manager Suspended in Fertilizer Embezzlement Case

Action taken on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, Acting on complaints received during Sushasan Tihar 2026 regarding irregularities in fertilizer distribution at the Jilda Committee in Khadgawan, Korea district, the State Government has taken strict action under its zero-tolerance policy.

Following a review and investigation into the alleged embezzlement, serious negligence in initiating action against the accused was found. Taking a strict view of the matter, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai directed immediate action against the responsible officials.

In compliance with these directions, the Chief Executive Officer of District Cooperative Central Bank Limited, Ambikapur suspended Shri Kallu Prasad Mishra, Assistant Accountant and In-Charge Branch Manager, with immediate effect. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed at the Baikunthpur branch in Korea district.

The State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is prioritising transparency, accountability and prompt action on public complaints to strengthen public trust in governance.
