Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai holds courtesy meeting with Japanese delegation; detailed discussions on investment, technological collaboration, and industrial expansion


Raipur, April 25, 2026

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday received a Japanese delegation on a courtesy visit at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in the state capital Raipur.

Welcoming the delegation, Chief Minister Shri Sai held detailed discussions on the possibilities of investment in Chhattisgarh, industrial development, and various avenues of technological collaboration.

Referring to his recent visit to Japan, the Chief Minister said that due to the state government’s industry-oriented and investor-friendly policies, Chhattisgarh is emerging as an attractive destination for global investors. Japan, being a technologically advanced nation, can play a significant role in accelerating industrial growth in the state through its expertise.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that such investments and collaborations would generate new employment opportunities for the youth and give fresh momentum to the state’s industrial development.

The Japanese delegation appreciated the new industrial policy of the Chhattisgarh government, stating that a favorable and transparent environment for investment has been created in the state, opening up strong prospects for industrial expansion. The delegation also expressed its intent to further enhance its investments in the state.

On the occasion, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand, Director of FSNL Shri Yukihiro Momose, Executive Officer of Konoike Transport Shri Toshihiro Fujiwara, Managing Director of FSNL Shri Sunil Kumar Dixit, and former CMD of Hindustan Copper Limited Shri K. D. Diwan were present.
