Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday released the book “Birhor Jannayak,” based on the life of Padma Shri awardee Shri Jageshwar Yadav, at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur. He congratulated the author, Dr. Lokesh Patel.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said the book is an inspiring account of service and dedication. He described Padma Shri awardee Shri Jageshwar Yadav’s life as a unique example of struggle, service, and commitment to society.
He noted that Shri Jageshwar Yadav, popularly known as “Birhor ke Bhai” in Jashpur district, made remarkable contributions to the upliftment of the Birhor tribal community. His simplicity and unwavering dedication reflect true leadership rooted in service and sensitivity.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that “Birhor Jannayak” will inspire readers and encourage the younger generation to become socially responsible.
Author Dr. Lokesh Patel said the book is inspired by Shri Jageshwar Yadav’s dedicated efforts for the holistic development of primitive tribes, especially the Birhor community, and highlights his life struggle, social contribution, and humanitarian vision.
