Raipur, May 1, 2026\/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, in a post on social media platform \u2018X\u2019, stated that Matru Shakti is not merely a subject of reverence, but the very foundation of creation, values, and strength. Guided by this spirit, a one-day special session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly was convened to deliberate on key issues related to the holistic development and empowerment of women. The session witnessed extensive discussions on the resolution to implement one-third reservation for women in Parliament and all State Legislative Assemblies across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Minister Shri Sai observed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a robust foundation has been laid for the social and economic empowerment of women in India. \u201cStrengthening their political participation is the next crucial step in this journey,\u201d he noted, adding that the resolution represents a meaningful effort to ensure that half of the country\u2019s population is fully integrated with its rights and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
